Trichloromethyl carbonate is abbreviated as BTC. It is a highly chlorine-consuming product. Its reactivity is similar to that of phosgene and can be applied to the production of almost all chemical products that use phosgene and diphosgene. In 2015, the engineering design for the 30,000-ton/year BTC project of Shanxi Bichun Biotechnology Co., Ltd. was completed.
